Announcing Notice Portfolio Equity Grants

Notice can help you track the value of your equity grants using real-time Notice Price

Updated over a year ago

Intro

Notice Portfolio has been well received by investors who want to track their private company portfolio. Today, we are launching new capabilities that allow startup employees to track the current value of their equity grants (stock options and RSUs) with Notice Portfolio.

Tracking equity grants is particularly valuable for startup employees who have a significant percentage of their wealth tied up in their startup. With Notice Portfolio, you can track the value of your equity grants over time and make more informed decisions around exercising your options and selling your stock. Tracking equity grants is free, with premium upgrades available to those employees who want to track their equity grants in real-time and know the current exit value of their grants.

How it Works

To track the value of your equity grants in your Notice Portfolio, just enter your grant following the instructions on Notice.co.

You will be asked if your grant has a vesting schedule. If you have left your company before the end of the normal vesting schedule, it is very important that you provide the end date so that Notice can accurately track the value of your equity grants.

If you receive more grants or sell stock along the way, you can enter those trades and Notice will automatically keep track of how much vested stock you have and how much it is currently worth.

Equity Grant Exit Value

Knowing the current exit value of your equity grants can be very helpful when the company valuation is severely depressed and/or the company has raised investment rounds with aggressive investor protections that impact common stock shareholders. Notice Portfolio can show you the exact value of your grant if the company were to IPO or be acquired at the current valuation, which can differ from the current common stock price.

Without knowing the current exit value of your equity, there is no way to know exactly how a liquidity event would impact you as a common shareholder. To see the current exit value of your equity, you can purchase a premium upgrade for the company that issued the equity. Contact us for more details.

We are excited to offer you the ability to track your equity grants using Notice Portfolio. Please let us know what you think!
