N50 component weightings are rebalanced on a quarterly basis based on market capitalization, with two modifications. Learn more about our methodology here.
N50 component values are updated every minute based on real-time Notice Price.
As explained here, when historical Notice Price for a N50 component is updated based on newly added private market data, the N50’s historical value is updated. The value of this approach is that it ensures N50 always reflects all the private market data currently available, and is therefore as accurate as possible.
